Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Mulliner, Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding unit, has designed a unique keycase to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Bentley brand. Made from Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set of keys and a brochure that features never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre imagery.

Aesthetics

The Bentley Mulsanne key features an open button on the trunk and a second button that can start the car. The key also has a switch for turning on the parking brake. The key is made of vegetable tanned leather. It takes more than two days to make each one. Bentley says it takes roughly 500 man-hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The unwillingness to embrace modern technology is the primary factor to this time-consuming task.
